My name is Lauren Greene and I have been in daycare management/administration for over 10 years! During my time at Early Steps I have served as Program Manager, Assistant Director and in my most recent and longest role, I have been the director of the Richmond Road location! I have a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, which I earned at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Along my degree I am also certified in Montessori Education at the Preprimary level, a certification that I used at Early Steps for the few years that our Montessori program was in place.
My passion for working with children began in middle school when I started my own babysitting club! From that venture I took up tutoring and teaching, math while I was in high school and in Sunday school any chance I could. I have always enjoyed the joy children have when you interact positively with them, and also the amazing transformation that happens when learning has taken place!
In my home life, I am married with 3 children–one in high school, middle school and one in diapers! I love being a mom and consider it an honor and a blessing to watch my own children learn and grow. Outside of work, what I enjoy most is riding rollercoaster, having Uno and Monopoly game nights and spending lots of time with my husband and children!
