March 2nd marks Dr. Seuss’s birthday and also The National Education Association’s “Read Across America Day”. Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries, and community centers participate by bringing together kids, teens, and books.
We celebrated Dr. Seuss and reading at Early Steps Learning Center in each of our classrooms.
Our teachers really got into the spirit by dressing as Dr. Seuss characters, making ‘green eggs and ham’, and reading their favorite Dr. Seuss books to the kids.
