Our Very Hoppy Literacy Month
Literacy Month at Early Steps Learning Center was packed with fun stories and activities. We hope that the children have been sharing the stories and excitement for reading at home! We wrapped up the month with a very adorable addition to the ESLC Family…introducing Prince Charles, our Pre-Kindergarten Class Bunny! 2 Great Summer Camp Programs
Due to popular request, ESLC is changing it up this summer and will offer 2 Summer Camp Programs! Summer Camp…the perfect blend of gorgeous weather, wacky activities, ongoing learning and a boat load of FUN! Summer Camp is not just a few weeks strung together but rather an experience to look forward to and memories to treasure after school starts again. Applebaum Training
ESLC Staff attended Applebaum Training, “In our Hands, Tomorrow Future” held in Independence OH on March 19, 2016. Teachers were given day to day strategies in working with children in the early childhood setting. Topics included gaining respect and responsibility, recognizing autism, classroom behavior management, literacy making stories come alive and much more.

Holiday Wrap Up
We hope that you enjoyed a blessed holiday with family and friends. We are thankful to our ESLC family and staff for generously giving to the Cleveland community this holiday season. We are proud to share that our three Centers donated over 50 gifts to Gilmour Academy, who distributed the gifts to families in need in the Cleveland area. Our Annual Food Drive for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank was also generously supported by the ESLC families. Thank you!
