Graduation Ceremony

Highland Heights Community Center was host to our graduating pre-kindergarten class and their families for a special ceremony. New Outdoor Fun

Our preschoolers were VERY excited to see a NEW playground structure in the ESLC play yard!  We recently purchased and installed a Rainbow Play System on our preschool playground. Earth Day Celebration

To teach our kids about recycling and get them actively involved, we challenged our classrooms to an “Earth Day Competition”. The kids collect recyclables and brought them into the Center.  In total they collected over 5,000 pieces to be donated to the recycling center. New Montessori Program

Early Steps Learning Center is proud to announce the opening of its Montessori Program. Our program will be offered for 3-5 year old children at our current location in Richmond Heights. Dr. Seuss Day

March 2nd marks Dr. Seuss’s birthday and also The National Education Association’s “Read Across America Day”.   Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries, and community centers participate by bringing together kids, teens, and books.     We celebrated Dr. Seuss and reading at Early Steps Learning Center in each of our classrooms. Our teachers really got into the spirit by dressing as Dr. Seuss characters, making ‘green eggs and ham’, and reading their favorite Dr. Seuss books to the kids.
